Italy's GDP grew by 0.7% last year, Istat said on Monday. The figure is below the estimate of 1% given in the government’s Budgetary Structural Plan (BSP).
The national statistics agency said Italy’s GDP at market prices amounted to 2,192,182 million euros in 2024.
Italy’s deficit-to-GDP ratio was 3.4% last year, down from 7.2% in 2023, and better than the forecast of 3.8% given in the BSP.
